BASIC INFO.
The young de jure leader of a secretive crime syndicate specializing in assassinations called the Immaculate, Elijah has long known that every life has a price. Yet he's not prepared to call the value of the life of his narcissistic, abusive and psychologically controlling older sister, Eliza — the de facto crime boss of the Immaculate, a woman who has long been feared as its real leader and held complete control over the rest of the syndicate. Eliza's health, however, has failed in recent years, both physically and mentally, and she's become more and more detached from the everyday operations of the Immaculate.

Though he presents himself outwardly as a relatively quiet and cold (if flashy — what's with those gold earrings?) college student at a perfectly prestigious university, Elijah is facing pressure from the other members of the Immaculate to kill his ailing sister and stage a coup. Which should be easy for him, considering the cruelty she's done him in the past, but it isn't easy, no — it isn't easy at all. Her moments of intoxicating affection have stayed his hand thus far, as well as the knowledge that many of their lieutenants will take advantage of the situation to try and kill him if he acts. But soon, he'll be forced to make a decision: should he kill the only sister he's ever known for the only family he's ever known? What happens when rebellion presents itself as the mere pull of a trigger?
